Lower cholesterol is achievable with a drug called Lipitor, generically known as atorvastatin. It is one of the top cholesterol lowering drugs on the market, but it may not come without the risk of serious side effects.
Lipitor is a drug for lowering cholesterol that falls under the general drug category called statins. These types of drugs are effective in lowering cholesterol by actually blocking cholesterol’s production. It works at the enzyme level.
